I'm Bailey, the creator of Rose City Rooms. Oh and that's Chip and Cookie, our recent foster children.

I started my roommate search as a 19 year-old trying to make ends meet to pay my apartment rent. In 2015, I was able to purchase my first home and realized it should be easier to find a nice space to rent while not breaking the bank. I started by making rooms available in my Kenton home and today have 15 room rentals between 3 locations in Oregon and Washington.

Our goal is to provide beautiful spaces, friendly and professional roommates, good locations, and reasonable rent costs. All roommates pass background checks and are interviewed prior to applying. Our homes are professionally designed and furnished in all common areas, including living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. All of our locations have central A/C for the hot summer months and a W/D in the home. Utilities are split between residents at the Kenton & Alberta homes and are included with rent at the Vancouver location.

We currently offer 5-12 month leases which are generally renewable, as well as modified month-to-month options, depending on the time of year. Applications are non-refundable at $55 paid directly to our third party screening company and include a background and credit check, rental history/landlord reference, and income verification.
